The Digital Skills Accelerator aims to enable students to shape and develop their own digital skills. The project’s objective is clear: identify digital skills that should be prioritised by current and future groups of higher education students and create a self-standing multimedia learning system that students can use to strengthen their skills in specific areas.

DigComp — The Digital Competence Framework for Citizens, also known as DigComp, was first published by the European Commission in 2013. The aim was to create a tool to improve citizens’ digital competences, to assist policy-makers in formulating policies and planning education and training initiatives to improve digital competences. DigComp also provided a common language to identify and describe key areas of digital competence
